Are You Drinking Too Many Calories?
Beverages and drinks can contain so many calories and by drinking them you may be exceeding your calorie intake. Sometimes you don’t even remember drinking them. That is the scary thing!
How many Coffees do you have a day?
Are you consuming Milkshakes and or Juices to often throughout the day?
Beverages can contain so many calories. You may think that you are only having a drink but sometimes it is not the case. You may actually be consuming a whole meal worth of calories in one beverage. This can easily derail your weight loss goals. Consuming to many calories, whether it is from foods or drinks will make you gain weight. And let me tell you, calories from drinks and beverages are very empty calories. As in they don’t fill you up enough and you will be looking for more and more food. Falling into this trap will derail your weight loss results well and truly.
The best beverage and most accessible is WATER! It is free, you can carry it in a drink bottle and it is the healthiest option. So my advice would be to try to drink more of it. Drink it first thing in the morning when you get up. Drink it when you go to the fridge looking for more food and drink plenty of it when you are exercising and training.
Water! It is so underrated!
Water may be boring, but it is the best! It is the cheapest and the healthiest in order to stick to your goals. Look don’t get me wrong I also drink one cup of coffee a day (maybe 2 a day) but the rest is all water. On the hard stuff all day, and my body loves me for it.
Over the next couple of days try to limit your beverages to just water and maybe one tea or coffee. Take note of what other drinks that you tend to go for and really have a look at what each drink contains……. you may get a shock! And this could be one of the reasons why you are stuck in your weight loss movements.
